Keaveny Drug was established in 1933 by James Keaveny in Minneapolis at 48th and Grand. James's son Tom took over the store and eventually relocated the family and the business to Cokato, MN. Tom's son Kelly took over the store in Cokato and ran it for over twenty years.

Today the Keaveny's operate a store located in Winsted, MN. The store is owned by Kelly Keaveny, a third generation pharmacist and his wife Deborah, a second generation pharmacist. After both Keaveny's have previously worked for large chain pharmacies, owned and operated several stores, they have settled down with a single store and are totally dedicated to taking care of Winsted and surrounding communities.

Keaveny Drug brings personalized pharmacy services including coordinating or syncing refills for a single visit to the pharmacy a month, medication therapy management -making sure all medications are necessary and working optimally for each patient, immunizations so that go beyond the annual flu shot and shingles vaccine, area delivery, special orders and personalized care. Keaveny Drug takes care of several group homes and assisted living facilities. We carry a full line of health and beauty aids as well as greeting cards and gifts.
